Responsibilities
The Supply Planning Analyst will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the Planning group for US and Canadian businesses.
This role will compile, analyze and interpret daily, weekly, and monthly reports as well as ad hoc reports needed to support the team.
Additionally, this role will execute various tasks related to alignment of the demand and supply plans, identify process improvements, and provide transactional support to the group using SAP/ERP and demand planning tools.
The incumbent will work closely with Planners, Sales Ops Managers, and Customer Solutions team on demand changes and stock issues while maintaining satisfactory service levels.
Additional responsibilities include: Analyzing budget, forecast, actuals, and collaborating with the team in case of major disconnects.
Developing, documenting, and updating processes for the Planning Group.
Reporting development opportunities to improve demand and supply performance.
Financially analyzing various options (import, repack, airfreight, lost business opportunity, etc) during unexpected demand spikes.
Identifying non-repeatable demand patterns and outliers.
Setting the safety stock levels to meet fill rate objectives.
Proposing trade off and allocation plans to constrained supply scenarios.
Improving inventory deployment accuracy to drive better customer service, and control measures to minimize waste in terms of dollar spending and consumption.
Building and maintaining relationships with key PVM resources across the globe in all functions.
Proactively communicating with Planners, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, and Sales when forecasting issues are anticipated.
When necessary, challenging teams in new product volumes and forecast analysis relative to business volumes.
Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years of prior experience in supply chain in areas of influence in Supply/Demand and New Product Launch.
BA/BS in Business Operations, Supply Chain, or related field required.
MS Office Application experience is required.
Must be proficient using Excel.
SAP and Power BI experience preferred.
Experience using demand planning tools.
Proven ability to manipulate large amounts of data with very high accuracy required.
Strong business and financial acumen required.
Continuous improvement background preferred.
Experience in production planning, materials management, sales and distribution, inventory management and warehouse management.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Ability to drive and support a high-performance organization.
Proven skill managing by influence across diverse levels of the organization and across functions.
Ability to develop and analyze process/business scorecards to leverage data and KPIs to drive business improvements.
Robust written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Must display the ability to present complex data in simple, cohesive form to allow for effective decision making.
Ability to quickly establish credibility and navigate across the matrix organization while engaging others to ensure the most effective solutions are implemented.
