About the role

  • IT-Help Desk Agent at OMEXOM supporting IT operations and user assistance. Engaging with MS Windows Servers and providing first-level support for internal colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Handle various IT administration tasks for MS Windows servers and clients, as well as mobile devices (Apple iOS and Google Android)
  • Implement system expansions and adjustments
  • Serve as the first point of contact for colleagues and resolve incidents in 1st- and partially 2nd-level support
  • Onboard new colleagues and set up user accounts and devices
  • Assist users with software and hardware usage
  • Document and track support requests in the Jira ticketing system
  • Document processes, system adjustments and changes in Atlassian Confluence
  • Maintain work progress in the Atlassian Jira ticketing system

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT, e.g., as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira and remote support tools
  • Basic knowledge of server administration and networking
  • Familiarity with terms such as DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, Wireshark, PowerShell, and the OSI model
  • Experience operating MS Windows Servers is an advantage
  • Technical affinity and interest in new IT technologies and topics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented working style
  • Driving licence (category B or class 3) and willingness to travel for regional assignments
  • Good German and English language skills and strong teamwork and communication skills
