Responsibilities
Serve as the technical authority for ServiceNow solutions focusing on federal business workflows.
Design, develop, and oversee custom applications and workflows spanning multiple modules.
Participate in strategic and technical discussions with clients and partners.
Define and enforce platform governance, standards, and best practices for customization, integration, and data security.
Ensure that custom solutions remain upgradeable and sustainable.
Collaborate with functional SMEs, business analysts, and developers to translate complex business rules into platform designs.
Integrate ServiceNow with external client systems.
Mentor developers and administrators to strengthen the OCT’s custom development capabilities.
Oversee OCT’s ServiceNow implementations.
Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5-7 years of ServiceNow platform experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more domains.
Exposure to AI/ML features within ServiceNow (predictive intelligence, virtual agents, etc.).
Experience leveraging Integration Hub and Flow Designer for automation.
Strong hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow configuration, workflows, scripting (JavaScript/Glide), and integrations.
Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Solid understanding of ITIL processes and how they map to ServiceNow.
Experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions, including integrations with external systems.
Strong knowledge of data models, security (roles, ACLs), and platform performance optimization.
