New School Bus Sales Representative for New York Bus Sales handling sales of school bus products. Seeking to grow sales and ensure customer satisfaction in assigned territory.
Responsibilities
Cover assigned territory and accounts and sell full school bus product line and services offered by New York Bus Sales.
Plan, prioritize and manage assigned territory, both current and potential customers.
Give presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.
Respond to sales inquiries and concerns via phone, electronically or in person.
Make cold calls to potential clients both in person and electronically.
Ensure customer satisfaction and good client relationships while using ethical sales methods.
Provide sales report upon request as well as territory specific trends.
Make good business decisions in accordance with established procedures and policies.
Follow all prescribed Safety methods and perform work safely.
Attend trade shows and local meetings to support sales activities across the designated territory.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous vehicle sales experience preferred, more specifically in the automotive industry.
Minimum 5 Year Outside Sales/Account Management required.
Understand the company oral and written instructions/policies sufficiently to enter into sales contracts with customers.
Correspond with customers, vendors, supervisors, and other employees in a concise and professional manner via all available communication channels, email, sales quotes, verbal, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Plan and organize appointments and accomplish multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Ability to work independently, accomplishing the goals of the position with little direct supervision.
Travel on a flexible schedule as needed.
Detail oriented with the ability to read production orders and detailed diagrams.
Proof of liability and property damage insurance on all vehicles used for travel is required.
Be safety conscious and demonstrate the ability to follow prescribed safety practices as to prevent injuries to self and other employees.
Possess valid NYS Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsement or have the ability to obtain one within 12 months
