Responsibilities
Support and drive our go-to-market strategy in personal care and cosmetics, bridging science, market, and customer needs.
Help execute our GTM strategy by supporting lead generation, marketing activities and sales enablement.
Monitor trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform strategy, product positioning, and sales opportunities.
Develop and refine brand narratives and product positioning in alignment with market and customer needs.
Create and coordinate claim-driven, customer-oriented marketing materials in close collaboration with internal colleagues.
Prepare and participate at trade fairs and industry events.
Support creation of pricing strategies, company and product presentation materials tailored to specific customer segments.
Identify and engage new customers through outbound campaigns, digital outreach, and partnership opportunities.
Nurture leads and build strong, trust-based relationships with prospects and key customers.
Collaborate with ingredient suppliers and distribution partners, exploring additional sales channels.
Requirements
A degree in business, business and technology or a related field is required;
Technical affinity or academic background in chemistry, material science, cosmetic science or similar is a strong plus.
2–5 years of experience in personal care and cosmetics, ideally in sales, marketing, business development, or purchasing of ingredients or specialty chemicals.
The ability to translate scientific insights into market value is essential.
Understanding of ingredient market dynamics, customer decision processes, and claims-driven communication in B2B cosmetics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset;
Fluent English is a must. German and other European languages are a plus.
Self-starter with hands-on attitude, structured thinking, and strong ownership of projects.
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup, willing to travel up to 20–30% (mainly in Europe, possibly overseas over time).
