Project Manager responsible for coordinating international projects in process and product transfers at Merz Aesthetics. Leading project plans, process validations, and collaboration with global teams.
Responsibilities
Planning, coordination and implementation of process and product transfers, their handover to routine production, and coordination of process validation activities in a GMP environment
Independent, international handling of projects as project leader, including creation, management and tracking of project plans, schedules and transfer documentation related to product transfers and process optimizations, and reporting to higher-level structures
Analysis of existing technical processes with the aim of reducing costs, energy and resource consumption
Close collaboration with local and international departments, particularly quality control functions, production, engineering and R&D, within project work and daily routine operations
Developing and implementing project plans with a focus on finances and processes for successful project execution, and establishing and maintaining a monitoring system for project progress, including tracking KPIs
Preparation of documentation in accordance with international standards (e.g., ISO compliance, GLP/GMP/QSR/FDA requirements, etc.) in the context of transfer and development activities as well as subsequent validation activities and their risk management (e.g., strategies, plans, protocols, reports, etc.)
Support and participation in internal (self-inspections) and external audits (authorities, notified bodies)
Requirements
Degree in a natural science, preferably in biology, chemistry, pharmacy or biotechnology, or alternatively a process engineer / chemical engineer with several years of experience in product development activities and project management in a regulated environment
Experience leading projects in international, complex, regulated environments, and experience in a global technology context with expertise in project planning and execution
Experience in process development, design, scale-up, process optimization and validation required
Industrial experience in a GMP-compliant environment
Result-oriented way of working in an international environment
Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
Confident user of standard MS Office applications
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
Effective time management combined with assertiveness
