About the role

  • Bid Manager managing public sector bids and procurement strategies for Mercell in a hybrid work environment. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing AI for bid excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and lead the full bid management process, utilising exceptional project leadership to ensure every submission is high-quality, on time, and persuasive.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure our responses are robust, compliant, and commercially sharp.
  • Develop bid strategies that align with Mercell’s growth goals and navigate the specific regulatory landscapes of your target markets.
  • Maintain meticulous records, communication logs, and pricing models to ensure our bids are as auditable as they are innovative.
  • Act as a compelling presenter, emphasizing the business value and unique differentiators of our platform during solution demonstrations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (ideally 4+ years) delivering high-quality public bids (B2G) within the SaaS or tech industry.
  • A deep understanding of tender management processes and public procurement regulations.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken), alongside proficiency in Norwegian and/or Swedish.
  • A demonstrated ability to own complex, high-stakes deliverables from inception to completion with "flawless execution" as your baseline.
