Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory requirements in context and consideration of the Company operation culture of Quality, Safety, Efficacy and Efficiency.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs), ergonomic evaluations, and safety audits.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections.
- Monitor and analyze workplace safety metrics; recommend improvement strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar credential preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and training skills in English and Spanish.
