About the role
- Technology Manager developing high-performance industrial lubricants at Anderol. Focused on formulation and optimization in a global competency center.
Responsibilities
- Development and optimization of new lubricant formulations for Anderol®
- Analysis and interpretation of technical data to optimize product performance
- Development and implementation of new test methods and ensuring procedures and documentation comply with relevant standards (ISO, DIN, ASTM, etc.)
- Timely execution of application-technical test assignments, including presentation of results
- Provision of technical data, advice and solutions for sales, distributors and customers
- Translating technical data into commercial solutions and creating marketing materials
- Maintenance and management of technical documents (safety data sheets, technical data sheets, product specifications, regulatory documents, etc.)
- Responsible for troubleshooting and production-related issues
- Close interaction with customers and suppliers
Requirements
- Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician, chemical process operator, technician or comparable qualification (possibly Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) with several years of professional experience in lubricants or lubricant additives
- Desirable: in-depth knowledge in lubricant formulation, especially synthetic compressor and industrial oils
- Solid knowledge of analytical and physicochemical test methods as well as tribological testing for lubricants
- Structured, independent working style and good time management
- Team spirit and strong communication skills
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel occasionally
