About the role
- Operations Manager leading staff across various sites in Germany. Responsibilities include personnel management, operation coordination, and performance monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational staff across multiple sites (approximately 10–40 employees per site working across 3 shifts)
- Conduct hiring of personnel in coordination with executive management
- Coordinate day-to-day operational processes
- Perform performance reviews and ensure targets are met
- Provide customer support and handle complaints
- Coordinate collections/pickups in consultation with dispatch/scheduling and material flow management
- Monitor compliance with maintenance schedules (vehicles, equipment)
- Travel 3–5 days per week, depending on site responsibility
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in the waste management or logistics industry, preferably with substantial leadership responsibility
- Confident and effective negotiation skills
- Strong assertiveness combined with high social competence
- High flexibility and exceptional commitment
