About the role
- Operations Manager overseeing travel operations across Latin America for Intrepid Travel. Responsible for service quality, safety, and managing trip operations in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of all trips across Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil.
- Ensure every trip meets company standards, policies, and Responsible Travel principles.
- Maintain service quality, safety, and brand consistency as the primary operational link between local offices, Group Leaders, Global Operations team, and Product teams.
- Contribute to strategic planning and provide leadership as a core member of the regional management team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management, tour leading, and team leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of adventure travel products and destinations in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil.
- Strong crisis management and safety oversight capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and delegation skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese proficiency is highly desirable.
