About the role
- Senior Project Manager overseeing planning and implementation of mechatronic projects at Interroll Group. Leading teams and ensuring project success from conception to production.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for planning, controlling and successfully implementing demanding mechatronic projects – from concept to production readiness
- Lead interdisciplinary teams and coordinate internal and external partners
- Primary point of contact for our customers
- Independent management and control of complex projects in the field of mechatronics (electronic control units, power supplies, smart actuators, PowerDriveUnits, etc.)
- Technical leadership and motivation of interdisciplinary project teams from mechanics, electronics and software
- Preparation and monitoring of project plans, budgets and resources
- Coordination and management of suppliers and development partners
- Ensuring compliance with quality, schedule and cost targets
- Risk and change management throughout the project lifecycle
- Technical clarification and alignment with customers, specialist departments and external partners
- Reporting to management and conducting milestone and status meetings
- Support in preparing proposals and acquiring projects
Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in project management of complex technical projects, ideally in mechatronics
- Solid knowledge in the development and integration of mechatronic systems
- Experience leading teams and working with customers and partners
- Confident use of project management tools and methods (e.g., MS Project, Agile, Scrum, V-Model, MS Office)
- High level of organizational skills, assertiveness and strong communication skills
- Very good written and spoken German and English
