About the role
- IT Administrator responsible for managing IT infrastructure at Infinity, specializing in aerospace and defense sector. Maintaining systems, providing support, and enhancing efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
- Maintain system integrity and ensure network security.
- Provide technical support to end-users and implement IT policies.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Assist in planning and executing IT projects including system upgrades.
- Implement and maintain data backup and recovery procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-10 years of experience in IT administration or a related role
- Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- Proficiency in network protocols and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience with IT security tools and best practices
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Certifications (Optional but Preferred): CompTIA Network+ or Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or equivalent, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
