About the role
- IT Business Analyst responsible for requirements gathering and testing in a healthcare organization. Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to meet project needs at Nova Healthcare Administrators.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, develop, analyze, and validate business and technical requirements
- Liaison between IT and business stakeholders
- Develop and execute quality assurance test plans
- Lead business definition and process development of enterprise projects
- Work with Business Teams and project sub-teams to meet project requirements
- Utilize SQL to build technical specifications and analyze test results
- Develop integrated Test Plans and detail design solutions
- Ensure successful project execution and provide applications management support
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree preferred
- Four (4) years of business analyst experience in a healthcare organization
- Four (4) years of experience at Nova with demonstrated ability to provide systems analysis
- Ability to understand regulatory requirements and design process and systems support around them
- Knowledge of self-funded insurance or healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with others at all levels of the organization
- Ability to articulate complex systems, process and/or concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to document complex processes
