About the role
- Senior Salesforce Product Owner responsible for product delivery within an Agile team in Portugal. Managing stakeholder communication and team collaboration across various disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of product delivery within an Agile environment
- Be the connective tissue between business stakeholders and a cross-functional delivery team working on a Salesforce product
- Manage backlog ownership, sprint ceremonies, stakeholder alignment, release governance, and requirements analysis
- Work across Engineering, QA, UX, DevOps, Finance, and Business teams, managing competing priorities in a fast-moving Agile environment
- Ensure clear communication and decisive ownership to make delivery succeed
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments
- Demonstrated ability to own and manage a Product Backlog end-to-end — from definition and grooming through prioritisation and sprint readiness
- Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria that translate business needs into clear, actionable development tasks
- Confident participation in all Agile ceremonies : backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Ability to act as the primary communication bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, managing expectations across a diverse stakeholder landscape
- Experience gathering and translating requirements from business, client, and technical stakeholders into structured, unambiguous deliverables
- Solid skills in impact analysis , dependency identification, and scope management during active development cycles
- Experience with Agile tooling such as Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog and delivery management
- Proactive approach to risk identification — able to surface delivery risks early and communicate structured mitigation plans
- Strong facilitation, negotiation, and prioritisation skills across cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, UX, DevOps, Finance, and Business
- English at B2 level (Upper Intermediate) or above — essential for daily stakeholder communication and documentation
- Based in Portugal , available for occasional in-person presence in Porto when required by the client
