About the role
- VAT Assistant specializing in complex data analysis and compliance reporting for multinational clients at KPMG. Engaging in continuous training and enhancing language skills to support VAT operations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in internal trainings and learn all about VAT to provide a great client experience.
- Analyze complex VAT data to prepare indirect tax reports for multinational clients based on country-specific guidance.
- Pro-actively anticipate clients’ needs and respond to requests accordingly.
- Manage contact with foreign tax authorities in case of upcoming questions.
- Participate in improvement projects as part of KPMG.
Requirements
- University studies/diploma
- Strong written and spoken English and Slovak language knowledge
- Open to advancing Excel skills through training opportunities
- Confident with numbers and can handle large amounts of data
- Ability to identify and solve potential problems
- Great collaboration and effective communication skills

- Precision, reliability, client-oriented mindset, and proactive personality
- Prior financial experience is an advantage (including internships)
