About the role
- Media Analyst Intern supporting data-driven operational tasks and reporting at Havas India. Requires strong Excel skills and attention to detail for media operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update media plans, trackers, and reports using Microsoft Excel
- Support upload and validation of media activity data (campaign details, spends, dates, platforms)
- Assist in billing and reconciliation support by tracking invoices, spends, and variances
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of operational data across internal systems
- Coordinate with planning, buying, and finance teams for data clarifications
- Prepare daily / weekly / monthly reports using pre-defined templates
- Perform basic data checks and validations to identify discrepancies
- Flag errors or missing data to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for media operations
- Maintain confidentiality of client and financial information
- Support documentation and process improvements when required
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable with formulas (SUM, IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic Pivot Tables)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with structured, repetitive, and process-driven tasks
- Basic computer proficiency (email, file management, MS Office tools)
- Willingness to learn media tools and internal systems (training will be provided)
