About the role
- Payroll Support Assistant handling payroll processing and data management for GXO. Ensuring data integrity and compliance while supporting payroll delivery at the ASOS site in Barnsley.
Responsibilities
- Producing reports and dashboards using Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Data Models)
- Supporting weekly and monthly payroll cycles, including overtime, absence, and holiday records
- Implement and maintain payroll trackers, spreadsheets, and databases for accurate monitoring of pay, attendance, and absence data
- Maintaining accurate payroll data across HRIS and Time & Attendance systems
- Responding to payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
Requirements
- Strong administrative experience, ideally in payroll or data-heavy roles
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting)
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, analytical mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with HRIS or T&A Systems are a must!
