About the role

  • Account Manager responsible for promoting and selling water resources services in Illinois. Establishing client relationships and developing prospects while ensuring effective project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Promoting, developing, and selling water resources services
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with potential customers
  • Developing and identifying prospects from current clients, referrals, leads, and other sources
  • Preparing and issuing reports on prospect pipeline, current sales, forecasts, and market trends
  • Planning and attending industry trade and convention shows to generate leads
  • Maintaining contact with Project Managers and Operations personnel
  • Developing an approach to the project and tailoring WRD products and services
  • Preparing bid packages and recommending margins to meet strategic financial goals
  • Utilizing CRM system for tracking and forecasting

Requirements

  • BS Degree
  • One + years of sales experience in water/wastewater or related industry
  • Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of water well drilling/water management sales practices preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information
  • Ability to generate leads and close deals
  • Public speaking and presentation skills a must
