About the role

  • HR Business Partner at Golden Steps ABA supporting employees and ensuring compliance in a hybrid role. Focusing on employee relations, FMLA, ADA, and multi-state employment laws.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with leadership to manage complex employee matters
  • Ensure compliance and support a positive, high-performing work environment
  • Lead the administration of FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs
  • Guide managers through sensitive situations
  • Ensure consistent application of policies across a multi-state footprint

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations and leave management
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and multi-state employment laws (NJ preferred)
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-state organization
  • Preferred SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
  • Experience in healthcare, ABA, or multi-site organizations
