Area Sales Manager expanding market share by signing and developing dealer relationships for GLS lending programs. Role involves remote work and collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
Work to expand the company's market share by signing new dealers, developing existing relationships, and increasing awareness and adoption of the company’s lending program(s)
This role will work remotely in the designated market and will report to a Regional Sales Manager
Requirements
Three (3) years’ experience in auto finance with sub-prime auto financing experience preferred
Three (3) years’ experience in sales with auto industry experience preferred
Knowledge of the local market with established customer relationships preferred
Intrinsically motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify needs, make recommendations for improvement, see recommendations through implementation, and evaluate improvements for effectiveness
Exceptional interpersonal skills: friendly and tactful with the ability to influence others, effectively manage conflict, exercise sound judgment, effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential information, interact at all levels within the organization, and build cross-functional partnerships across the business
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment
Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required
