Responsibilities
Support and ensure smooth 24x7 running of the operations in the 'in-country' data center.
Acts as Level 1 escalation point by overseeing and resolving all onsite operational incidents and major issues.
Documents and updates accurately all requests on the internal web portal ticketing system.
Implements best in class DC operations based on ITIL and industry practices.
Ensures effective implementations of safety, security and customer support policy and procedures.
Coordinates and provides support to contractors and vendors as well as inspecting completed work.
Plans and supports all preventive and reactive maintenance activities with little to no disruption to company's services.
Participates and supports internal and external audits for internal stakeholders and customers.
Generates accurate and regular reports when required.
Any other duties or project as assigned by the management.
Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in IT/Computing/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
Technical Training Certifications , Network Certifications or equivalent
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in 24x7 DC or facility operations environment, or fresh graduate with relevant qualifications
Possess general knowledge of M&E and Network Critical Infrastructure
Good knowledge in M&E and building facilities related systems
Meticulous team player with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
