Technical Sales Specialist responsible for technical support and sales objectives in GE Vernova's Electrification Software. Focusing on Transmission and Distribution Applications within the Middle East region.
Responsibilities
Responsible for activities and processes that help the sales organization achieve business objectives.
Provide technical and solution support to the direct sales team across the GE Vernova - Electrification Software - Grid Software Portfolio - Transmission and Distribution Applications, from the GridOS Portfolio.
Primarily focused on Advanced Energy (AEMS) and Distribution Management Systems (ADMS).
Promote the business benefits related to the adoption of the GridOS solutions primarily focused on Saudi Arabia and also across the Middle East Region as required.
Act as a trusted technical advisor on the Commercial Sales Team.
Align capabilities to specific outcomes, create reference architectures, and calculate potential solution value.
Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers.
Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Power Systems, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
Minimum of 8 years experience of Transmission and Distribution Grid Applications, within a utility or similar business to GE Vernova Electrification Software business.
Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
5 years relevant experience within a customer facing role (for example services or commercial sectors).
Amazon AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Equivalent.
Previous experience in a client facing role.
Ability to converse in Arabic to a business level.
Interest in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the grid sector.
