Product Manager focused on developing and launching headphone products at ADAM Audio GmbH. Collaborating closely with marketing and technical teams to ensure commercial success.
Responsibilities
Develop and own the commercials for our new and existing products within our headphones portfolio, including revenue potential, cost structure, margin targets, and ROI through close collaboration and alignment with Channel Marketing and the sales regions.
Ensure go-to-market success in close collaboration with Marketing and Sales; build positioning, messaging, pricing, and relevant artifacts.
Support the definition of structured proposals for new opportunities from a business and user standpoint, in close partnership with product and technical leadership. Contribute to portfolio planning.
Monitor, document, and analyze existing and changing customer needs, music production workflows, market trends, and competitor moves through direct customer engagement, dealer feedback, industry research, user interviews, studio visits, and product testing programs.
Support delivery with R&D (in-house and at manufacturing partners), Project Management, external partners, Operations and Marketing; support trade-off decisions on features, performance, cost and timing to meet market windows and business objectives.
Monitor in-market response and quality (warranty rates, returns, support tickets), and prioritize maintenance and running changes based on business impact.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience in headphones or adjacent consumer electronics (HiFi, gaming, etc.), or similar tech industries.
Demonstrable experience of turning market insight into clearly positioned and commercially viable products.
Strong market and financial analysis skills, with the ability to build Excel models and Power BI dashboards that generate data‑driven insights to guide strategic decision‑making.
Ability to balance vision with pragmatism and make evidence-based decisions.
Comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous environments, with exceptional collaboration and communication skills that prioritize teamwork and drive cross‑functional alignment.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment; confident managing resources, trade-offs, and time constraints.
Fluent English (written and spoken) required; German is a strong plus.
