About the role
- Product Owner managing product backlog and ensuring value delivery for business needs at Vertem. Collaborating with stakeholders and agile teams to improve product processes and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Interact with business areas;
- Manage and prioritize the Product Backlog, ensuring deliveries generate maximum value for the business and the customer;
- Validate deliveries, ensuring adherence to defined acceptance criteria;
- Understand the needs of business areas and translate them for IT development teams;
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the product and processes;
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Planning, Review, Retrospective, and Daily);
- Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team;
- Identify opportunities and define scope (writing user stories);
- Plan with development teams;
- Define prioritization aligned with the business and make decisions;
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Technology;
- Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels and work effectively in a team;
- Good judgment for setting priorities;
- Planning and organizational skills and a hands-on mindset;
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands;
- Negotiation skills;
