About the role

  • Product Manager at Fnality shaping product direction for regulated payment systems. Collaborating across teams to ensure functionality meets usability and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Shape product direction, driving change initiatives, coordinating delivery, and translating complex client and regulatory requirements into solutions
  • Facilitate collaboration across product, technology, operations, risk, legal, and customer teams to deliver outcomes aligned with strategic goals
  • Define and prioritise product features in coordination with Senior Product Managers
  • Drive continuous discovery, incorporating customer feedback, regulatory developments, and market changes
  • Complete clear business requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Support translation of business requirements into user journeys and technical specifications
  • Evaluate emerging DvP, PvP, and digital‑asset use cases to determine necessary FnPS support
  • Produce high‑quality internal and external documentation
  • Operate effectively in an agile delivery environment, managing the full lifecycle from concept through release
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the software development and release lifecycle

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of RTGS systems, high‑value payments, and settlement processes including DvP and PvP
  • Practical experience with SWIFT ISO 20022 MX messaging and familiarity with MT/MX formats
  • Experience working within a regulated payment institution (bank, fintech, FMI) and engaging with legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders
  • Understanding of financial services regulation as it relates to payments and market infrastructure
  • Familiarity with blockchain and distributed ledger technology; strong interest in decentralised financial market infrastructure
  • Understanding of distributed systems, reliability, security, and high-performance architectures
  • Experience working with engineering teams and integration partners
  • Practical experience using Confluence, Jira, and other collaboration tools
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile delivery methodologies
  • Strong ability to translate between technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Excellent written communication skills, including structured documentation for stakeholders and customers
  • Ability to influence without authority across complex, matrixed environments
  • Proven stakeholder management experience, including risk, issue, and dependency management
  • Highly organised, structured, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working in innovative, fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Skilled in facilitation of customer and user working groups
  • Willing to roll up sleeves and support hands-on delivery as needed
