About the role
- Finance Assistant supporting day-to-day accounting tasks within Finnplay's Finance team. Ideals include a university degree and a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Handle invoices, including processing and preparing them for payment
- Create requisitions in Oracle
- Process invoices and support payment workflows
- Prepare weekly GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) reports
- Assist with reconciliations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and bank reconciliations
- Support the monthly closing process
- Prepare accruals and adjustment lists
- Post manual journal entries to the General Ledger
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, including: Revenue reports and Profit & Loss statements
- Process credit card payments
Requirements
- University degree (or someone near the end of their studies) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle) is an advantage
