About the role

• Testmanager overseeing internal and external system tests for optoelektronische systems. Collaborating across teams to ensure quality testing and compliance in automotive supply industry.

Responsibilities

• Planning, coordination and oversight of internal and external system tests for optoelectronic and optomechanical systems
• Coordinating test activities with system integrators, developers and other project stakeholders
• Creating verification criteria, test plans and test specifications in alignment with functional requirements
• Maintaining, managing and documenting test results in the Polarion database system
• Responsible for the timely execution and evaluation of all test phases
• Analyzing test results, preparing defect reports and tracking corrective actions
• Organizing and moderating test reviews and acceptance activities

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable field
• Several years of experience (at least 6 years) in system testing, test coordination or test management in the automotive supplier industry, preferably for optoelectronic systems
• Solid knowledge of test methods, test planning and test execution
• Experience with test management and ALM tools, particularly Polarion
• Excellent German (C1) and good English (B2), both written and spoken
• Required: experience coordinating internal and external test activities
• Strong expertise in creating test cases and conducting system tests
• Knowledge of common automotive development processes (e.g., ASPICE, V-Model)
• Desirable: ISTQB Certified Test Manager or an equivalent certification
• Experience with functional safety in accordance with ISO 26262
• Experience in developing test environments including test hardware
• Experience with some of the following tools: DOORS, JIRA, GIT, Redmine, Q-Wiki, Confluence, Enterprise Architect, Microsoft Excel, Codebeamer
