Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures, including journal entry preparation, reconciliations, vendor and employee expense management.
- Assist with the preparation and review of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to drive consistency, scalability, and control.
- Analyze financial data and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial reports.
- Lead the financial integration workstream for acquired entities.
- Oversee sales and use tax filings in existing states.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure financial, contractual, and operational closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and month-end close.
- Demonstrated ability to drive accounting processes, working with cross-functional leaders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience in the technology and/or technology services industries is preferred.
