Sales Development Representative responsible for engaging new clients and driving business growth for Contentsquare in Japan. Collaborate with internal teams to refine sales strategies and understand customer needs.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop business opportunities through strategic outreach, including personalized emails, networking, industry events, and referrals
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including C-Level executives
Establish trust and credibility by becoming a subject matter expert in the industry and understanding the unique business needs of the Japanese market
Develop and execute a structured sales plan, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and accurate forecasting
Conduct market research to identify customer challenges and provide insights to internal teams for continuous improvement
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through consultative, relationship-driven sales strategies
Requirements
A strong drive to succeed and a proactive approach to business development
Minimum 1 year of successful sales or business development experience, preferably in B2B technology, SaaS, analytics, or CRM software
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in Japanese and business-level English
Ability to adapt to Japan’s business culture, focusing on trust, long-term relationship building, and consultative sales approaches
A competitive mindset and a track record of success in any field (e.g., sports, academics, or other achievements)
