Sales Development Representative conducting high-volume outbound calling to generate business opportunities. Engaging decision-makers and supporting sales initiatives for a growing team.
Responsibilities
Conduct high-volume outbound calling (100–120 calls per day) to engage decision-makers.
Generate qualified meetings for Producers across Employee Benefits, Property & Casualty, and Workers’ Compensation.
Build and maintain targeted prospect lists to support focused outreach campaigns.
Research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities using digital tools, data sources, and industry insights.
Maintain 100% accurate CRM documentation, including all activities, follow-ups, notes, and meeting outcomes.
Execute structured outreach sequences via phone, email, and LinkedIn to meet and exceed activity and meeting KPIs.
Collaborate closely with Producers to align outreach messaging, share insights, and support joint prospecting strategies.
Participate in coaching sessions, power hours, objection-handling training, and weekly performance reviews.
Support industry-specific prospecting initiatives and coordinated outbound campaigns.
Uphold Brown & Brown’s service standards while representing the organization with professionalism and integrity.
Requirements
Experience in sales, customer service, or business development is preferred.
Familiarity with CRM systems, with strong preference for Microsoft Dynamics.
Prior experience in outbound calling, lead generation, or inside sales is beneficial.
Willingness to obtain applicable insurance licensing within the first 120 days.
