Responsibilities
Leads the development and compliance of policies and procedures for the business
Understands the business needs and consults with business leaders in planning projects
Provides complex analysis and decision support to deliver on key business priorities
Collaborates with multiple disciplines to gather information and make recommendations
Responsible for defining process performance measures and advises operational reporting group
Develops and leads process-related training programs
Evaluates alternatives and external training
Responsible for building and maintaining centralized processing documentation
Acts as business project manager for large process improvement projects
Prepares operations, finance and statistical reports using relevant internal and external data
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent
Typically a minimum of seven years of related work experience
Knowledge of the insurance industry
Excellent analytical, organizational and planning skills
Proven business process modeling and analysis skills
Proficiency to facilitate meetings of high complexity
In-depth knowledge of project management principles
Expert knowledge of change management principles and methods
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills both verbal and written
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with little or no direction
