About the role
- Senior Manager overseeing rail integration for VIDA Rail's projects, enhancing network integration and supporting project delivery across infrastructure developments.
Responsibilities
- identification of opportunities to enhance network integration with the VIDA Rail pipeline of projects
- early identification of deficiencies and vulnerabilities across the transport (road / rail / bus / cycling /pedestrian) network
- support the transition from Project Investment to Project Development and Delivery
- participation in peer review and challenge sessions through the AWP process
- support the realisation of strategic initiatives, including solution re-use across the program of works
Requirements
- extensive experience in the planning, design and delivery of complex rail projects
- strong technical expertise in rail design and operations
- strong understanding of design and engineering issues through all phases of the construction project life cycle
- experience in the preparation of briefs and executive papers for informed decision making
- management of consultants to achieve timely and quality outputs
- well-developed understanding and experience of the Victorian Infrastructure environment and the Government’s policy objectives and transport strategies
