About the role
- Senior Functional Consultant for Power Platform at Bupa, delivering solutions in a hybrid work environment. Engaging in technical analysis, development, and mentoring within IT teams across diverse projects.
Responsibilities
- To participate in or undertake the technical analysis, specification, estimation, design, development, implementation and support of Low Code / No Code solutions, working with business users, third parties, and other IT colleagues, as appropriate.
- You will give application or technology specific guidance to business analysts, architects and designers to achieve the best overall solutions.
- Will be a sign-off authority for application solution designs.
- You will take ownership for resolving all IT related problems within their domain, which directly or indirectly impact on the operational services or development.
- Will manage 3rd party supplier resources in a matrix environment e.g. tech lead, scrum master.
- Will Establish and maintain credibility and working relationships with other IT teams, being an ambassador for IT within the business community, supporting a customer service culture.
- Act as a technical mentor to technicians and citizen developers within or outside of the Technology function.
Requirements
- 2 years experience digital web product delivery role.
- Ability to translate business goals into technology solutions
- Experience of working in a matrix managed environment, with mixed teams including contractors and outsourced vendors
- Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics platform including D365/O365
- Be proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues, and escalate appropriately
- Test Script and Documentation skills
- Deep understanding of out-of-the-box features and solution components of Power Platform
- Ability to balance BU needs, BGIUK IT strategic goals and project demands accordingly
