About the role
- Lead Product Management Specialist for Boeing Managed Cloud's product strategy and execution. Collaborating with architects and engineers to enhance cloud infrastructure for aerospace programs.
Responsibilities
- own and continuously refine the Boeing Managed Cloud product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog
- define requirements and acceptance criteria for landing zone capabilities and managed platform services across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- drive build-out of net-new managed services capabilities, including automated VM patching, lifecycle management, and shared platform services
- champion automation-first delivery including infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, pipeline automation, and self-service platform capabilities
- provide informal product leadership and mentorship to 2–3 Boeing Managed Cloud product managers
- coordinate dependencies with peer Product Managers (PMs) across the organization
- engage application teams and stakeholders to gather feedback, track adoption, and present platform performance and Return on Investment (ROI) to engineering leadership
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with product management or product design
- experience with Cloud hosted platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
- experience in cloud platform engineering and/or product management
- experience providing technical leadership to cross functional engineering projects
- experience demonstrating executive presence with exceptional written and oral communication skills
