Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of internal financial reports and schedules.
- Perform basic variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts.

- Assist with subledger accounting by working closely with AR, AP, and Project Accounting teams.
- Support joint venture accounting activities, including data collection and coordination with Project Accountants.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end financial reporting and audit preparation.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and organizing financial data.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls.
- Assist with special projects, reporting, and process improvements as assigned.
- Maintain accurate documentation and organized financial records.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience (co-op, internship, or entry-level experience considered).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
