About the role
- Technical Field Service Engineer providing services for BD Pyxis automated systems with a focus on U.S. Department of Defense sites. Role involves substantial travel and on-site support within Germany.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site reactive service for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems & PARATA technologies located within hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities
- The FSE will service primarily hardware and software system components located in U.S. Department of Defense sites (DOD)
- Participate in the installation and upgrades of these systems and secondarily execute a preventative maintenance program
- Participate in pre-installation testing, reconfiguring, and documentation of uncovered technical issues of all applicable Pyxis systems & PARATA technologies
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen with US Passport
- Military (DOD) Field experience supporting medical or automation equipment in a healthcare setting a plus
- Must possess ability to obtain US DOD clearance and obtain CAC
- Excellent customer and interpersonal skills at all levels
- Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
- Well organized, process oriented and diligent with an eye for detail and quality
- Working knowledge of PC hardware, windows operating systems and basic networking
- Certifications a plus
- Flexible & adaptable with capability and willingness to embrace change
- Excellent presentation and communication
- English should be mother language, additional language welcome
- Good skills in MS Office
