About the role
- Finance & Controlling Manager in a fast-growing pet food company focusing on reporting and analytics. Collaborating closely with management to enhance financial decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of our finance and performance reporting and continuous development of our KPI framework
- Preparation of cashflow forecasts and liquidity planning, as well as support with financing, funding programs and financial simulations
- Monthly performance reporting including analysis of key business metrics and derivation of actionable recommendations
- Forecasting and budget planning in close cooperation with the business units
- Business partnering with our division heads – analysis of performance, identification of potential improvements and development of measures
- Preparation of business cases, investment calculations and profitability analyses to support strategic decisions
- Further development of our controlling tools and data structures to strengthen data-driven decision making across the company
- Support for monthly reporting and preparatory work for annual financial statements
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in controlling, finance or a comparable analytical environment (e.g. consulting, corporate finance, start-up/scale-up)
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Analytical mindset with strong numerical proficiency
- Ability to present complex issues in a clear and comprehensible way
- Confident presence and strong communication skills to act as a sparring partner for different business areas
- Hands-on mentality and a structured, independent working style
- Advanced Excel skills and experience analysing larger datasets
- Experience with BI tools or reporting systems is a plus
