Process Support Engineer supporting advanced semiconductor processes at Applied Materials. Providing technical support and troubleshooting at multiple fab sites in Taiwan.
Responsibilities
Provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment
Work closely with the customer to develop leading-edge processes for manufacturing advanced semiconductor chips
Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE)
Troubleshoot complex problems; perform multiple root cause analysis; and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issues
Communicate with both internal stakeholders and the customer to achieve goals
Requirements
Master’s degree in chemistry/physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or related field
1–5 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering or technical support (New Graduates are also welcome)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience in process development or equipment troubleshooting
Familiar with Applied Materials' platforms is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English (TOEIC Certification 550+ required) and Mandarin
