About the role

  • Customer Services Manager delivering exceptional service and resolving customer requests for US Navy program in Diego Garcia. Training staff and maintaining customer records with a focus on service standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving customer requests
  • Provide accurate information and foster a positive customer experience
  • Respond promptly and effectively to customer requests from various sources
  • Manage customer inquiries from walk-ins, phone calls, faxes, or emails
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints efficiently
  • Maintain a record of customer interactions as per organizational procedures
  • Develop and implement customer service standards to align with requirements
  • Act as primary contact for customer relations and ensure effective communication
  • Train and mentor staff in customer service skills and best practices
  • Identify recurring issues and propose solutions for improvement
  • Document and maintain customer service policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years experience in customer service, customer relationship management, or managerial role in a customer-facing environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for communication, documentation, and data tracking
  • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance for the duration of deployment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization
  • Prior experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce preferred
  • Valid country driver’s license preferred
  • Country visa required (as per U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide)
