Account Executive responsible for developing Public Sector portfolio across ministries in France. Engaging with public institutions and ensuring member satisfaction through strategic account management.
Responsibilities
Define strategic targets within the public sector
Prepare for and meet with prospects ahead of RFPs (requests for proposals)
Respond to relevant RFPs — including substantial written work and project management
Prepare for and participate in oral presentations
After a win, oversee Alan's deployment in collaboration with the Key Account Manager and ensure high satisfaction for administrators and members
Help build the appropriate Salesforce setup to track sales activity for the public sector and maintain strong data hygiene across the team
Support the team in standardizing and industrializing our RFP response process to increase efficiency and win rates
Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to inform Alan's public sector strategy by consolidating RFP debriefs, client expectations, and our competitive differentiators
Collaborate with Product and Ops teams to ensure Alan's offerings remain competitive and tailored to FPT (territorial public service) and FPH (public hospital service) needs
Share information, debriefs, and lessons learned with the Public Sector team to drive collective improvement
Deliver a seamless journey that reflects Alan's customer-first approach
Requirements
Proven ability to conduct C-level discussions and influence key decision-makers, with a high degree of formality
Full professional proficiency in French (C2 or equivalent), including in formal contexts; advanced level of English
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced, intense environment
Collaborative approach, able to work effectively across multiple teams and communities
Strong interest in understanding the French public sector structure, procurement processes, and key stakeholders
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain trust with diverse stakeholders
Outstanding project management skills with meticulous attention to detail
Adaptability and resilience to navigate the complexities of long public sector sales cycles
Prior experience and a proven track record of closing large, complex deals with long sales cycles is a strong plus; prior experience responding to RFPs is also a clear advantage
