Responsibilities
You drive ahead's growth in the German retail market with a clear focus on the Markant network.
You are responsible for key partnerships, evolve our sales strategy, and ensure our products are sustainably established in the market.
Key Account Management with true ownership
You take end-to-end responsibility for our Markant partners — from relationship building and annual business reviews to negotiating commercial terms and listings at the decision-maker level.
Strategic management & growth
You develop and implement growth strategies for your customer portfolio and identify new potential within the Markant network.
Negotiations & commercial terms management
You confidently lead price, terms and framework agreement negotiations and operate securely within central regulation systems.
Market & competitive analysis
You analyze market trends, competitors and assortments in the FMCG environment and derive concrete measures for your accounts.
Cross-functional collaboration
You work closely with Trade Marketing, Supply Chain and Category Management to ensure strong execution at retail.
Requirements
Proven experience in Key Account Management within the FMCG/brand environment
Very good understanding of Markant structures, processes and central regulation systems
Confident negotiator at decision‑maker level with experience in commercial terms and annual business discussions
Strong analytical understanding of sales drivers, margins and sales KPIs
Strategic thinking combined with a clear hands‑on mentality
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
High level of commitment, ownership and results‑orientation
Fluent German language skills
