About the role
- VP Lead Actimize Implementation Engineer responsible for designing and optimizing Actimize solutions at The Bancorp. Leading the support team to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary owner and administrator of The Bancorp’s NICE Actimize platform.
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Actimize solutions to support critical compliance functions.
- Leads the Actimize support team, working closely with compliance, risk, and technology stakeholders.
- Deploys, configures, and customizes Actimize modules to align with business use cases.
- Designs detection scenarios and rules to support AML, fraud, and customer due diligence programs.
- Integrates Actimize with core banking systems, payment platforms, and customer onboarding workflows.
- Develops robust data pipelines to ensure accurate ingestion and ETL mapping of data.
- Works with engineering teams to integrate APIs and streaming data into Actimize environments.
- Enhances case management workflows in Actimize for operational efficiency.
- Partners with internal financial crimes leadership to translate regulatory requirements into actionable configurations.
- Monitors system performance, conducts tuning, and provides production support.
- Develops and executes test plans, regression testing, and validation of system upgrades.
- Creates documentation, technical specifications, and user training guides tailored for fintech environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience implementing and managing NICE Actimize solutions.
- Strong knowledge of financial crime risk management, AML, fraud detection, and compliance workflows in banking.
- Proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL, data mapping, and ETL processes.
- Experience with APIs, system integration, and enterprise data architecture.
- Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
