About the role
- UI/UX Designer at Avanquest focused on leading design efforts for user-friendly software solutions. Collaborating across Europe and North America for product design modernization and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Own design of your brands and lead design efforts across a portfolio of products used by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide
- Collaborate with an international team spanning Europe and North America
- Take ownership of modernizing legacy product designs to align with modern standards and user expectations
- Refine designs, optimize user flows, and ensure cohesive design practices
- Review and perfect designs, flows, and feature requirements before they are handed to the development team
- Contribute to defining product strategies that drive user acquisition, conversion, and retention rates
- Conduct competitive design and trend analysis to ensure our product design modernity
- Challenge your design and UX flows with internal and external customers
- Identify and execute opportunities to enhance product and branding designs.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of iOS and Android design guidelines
- Mastery of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, optionally After Effects)
- Mastery of Figma and a strong portfolio showcasing creative product designs
- 3+ years of expertise in UX-UI and overall design with a focus on achieving excellence
- Experience bootstrapping SaaS products and proofs of concept (startup experience is a plus)
- Sensitivity to responsive design for desktop, online, and mobile solutions
- Leadership and agility when starting from a blank slate
- A passion for solving challenges and reimagining legacy products for a modern audience
- Motivation to grow through concrete achievements and a "winning as a team" mindset
- A fast and creative problem-solver ready to take on challenges
- Interest in Canva or any other design platform, as well as photography skills, are considered an asset.
