Responsibilities
The Senior Sales Manager will lead a team of Account Managers to drive strategic growth and grow customer relationships across a defined regional territory.
Responsible for expanding AVEVA’s market presence, deepening customer relationships and expanding the customer base.
Identify new business opportunities and deliver tailored solutions through multiple go-to-market strategies.
Deliver revenue targets through effective coaching, territory planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Oversee a sales team—monitoring performance, providing coaching, and ensuring targets are met.
Gather customer feedback, conduct market research, and deliver strategic insights and reports to senior leadership.
Stay informed on product developments, competitor activity, and market trends.
Requirements
Industry knowledge pertinent to the territory (e.g. in one or more industries: Utilities, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Metals & Mining, Paper, Life Sciences)
Significant direct sales experience – specifically within complex, B2B Enterprise Software.
Significant sales management experience in DACH/CEE markets
Excellent leadership, coaching and team management skills
Familiarity with Salesforce and the MEDDPICC sales framework.
Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and local language (German) to a minimum level of C1.
