About the role
- Rates Analyst Senior overseeing regulatory filings and rate development for Elizabethtown Gas utility. Key role in ensuring compliance and interfacing with several departments and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
- Perform a lead role in the development of rates and ensure the timely and accurate filing of rate applications and compliance documents.
- Develop and prepare special studies and management reports.
- Interface with regulatory agencies, other departments and external customers in the support of regulatory affairs and pricing objectives.
- Oversee and prepare regulatory filings and associated tariffs including the supporting work papers, documentation, and analyses.
- Maintain, update and revise rate models with financial and accounting data.
- Monitor, analyze and react to regulatory changes; ensure compliance with BPU directives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Equivalent work may be considered in lieu of degree.
