Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of hardware systems integration across various vehicle subsystems.
Responsible for the complete end-to-end integration of hardware components, focusing on subsystems such as chassis, thermal, body, safety, and lighting.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support product design, vehicle behaviors definition, prototype bring-up, and debugging.
Ensure the seamless functionality and performance of all systems throughout the product lifecycle.
Conceptualize, design, engineer, and support the launch of next-generation vehicle platform architectures for electric vehicles.
Requirements
B.S in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience working on complex electrical systems or electronics designs
Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and ability to apply them to automotive concepts
Proven debugging and diagnostic skills in electrical, mechanical, and software domains
Proven ability to develop traceable electrical hardware and system level requirements from high-level features to implementation specifications
Experience with creating and executing component and system level test procedures
Experience with requirements capture in requirements management software platforms (JAMA, etc)
Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

A systems approach to design and development with the desire and curiosity to strive for exceptional delivery execution and continuous improvement

Master’s Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, power supplies, etc.)
Experience with hardware definition and integration of chassis and/or thermal electronics
Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA)
Experience with electrical / electro-mechanical devices involving networked microcontrollers and embedded software
