Senior Digital Sales Specialist at Dow responsible for digital customer relationship management and portfolio growth. Focusing on selling, onboarding, and driving digital engagement within Latin America.
Responsibilities
Responsible for growing and nurturing existing customer relationships by selling new and existing products, as well as generating new customers, through a fully digitalized customer experience.
Accountable for processes and tasks inherent in the sales process, including actioning leads and onboarding new customers, educating and positioning customers to partner with Dow through digital channels, and leveraging industry & product knowledge to drive sales.
Develop customer pipeline, adding new foundational customers and developing existing customers to ‘Target Growth’ or ‘Priority’.
Build strong customer relationships through digital channels and virtual partnership.
Act as Dow.com ambassador and drive adoption of the platform with customers.
Initial Dow.com account set-up for newly onboarded customers.
Lead price/volume negotiations with customers.
Maintain and update all pricing in Smartprice.
Communicate product availability and lead times; troubleshoot availability challenges.
Gather high-level market intelligence and customer insights; share within Dow.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, fluency in English (verbally and in writing).
3+ years of commercial related experience.
Negotiation and sales tactics.
Solid understanding of products and product application rules.
Solid business and financial acumen (cost, freight, margin, etc.).
Proactive hunter with ‘owner’s mindset’ & excellent cold calling skills; self-driven and efficient.
Effective conflict resolution skills.
Technologically savvy & data driven, early adopter of new technology.
Proficiency in CRM, DSR, SmartPrice, Dow.com, Microsoft Office.
