Pharmacy Technician assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of pharmaceutical drugs. Requires teamwork and adherence to standards and laws with onsite work.
Responsibilities
Assist Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing pharmaceutical drugs• Follow standards, State and Federal laws, and department policies and procedures• Work onsite 1-2 days per week• Work shifts ranging from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Mon-Fri and weekend rotation
Requirements
No experience necessary• Completion of Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred/optional• Six months of experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or customer service preferred/optional for Pharmacy Technician I• One year experience in pharmacy or equivalent or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program for Pharmacy Technician II• Three years experience in pharmacy or equivalent or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program AND two years experience in pharmacy for Pharmacy Technician III• Five years experience in pharmacy or equivalent or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program AND four years experience in pharmacy for Pharmacy Technician Senior• Pharmacy Technician registration or licensure OR application for pharmacy technician registration or licensure for all levels of Pharmacy Technician
