Physician Recruitment Assistant joining the Duke Medical Staff Recruitment team. Evaluating candidates, managing relationships with vendors, and improving recruitment strategies for Duke Health Integrated Practice.
Responsibilities
Independently evaluate physician and APP CVs for minimum qualifications, board certification, licensure, and alignment with specialty requirements.
Own the design and execution of physician/APP interview itineraries, ensuring candidates’ schedules, departmental needs, and organizational priorities are balanced.
Independently manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., travel agencies, relocation firms, real estate partners).
Partner with Physician Recruiters and leadership to design and implement specialty-specific recruitment strategies.
Serve as a liaison to physician recruitment teams, hiring departments, onboarding, credentialing, and benefits partners.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as Human Resources, Marketing, or Business Administration required.
1 year of related recruitment experience in a healthcare setting.
1-2 years of physician recruitment experience preferred.
Willing and able to drive to DHIP administrative office in Durham, NC for occasional staff or recruiter pod meetings Durham office headquarters, or in-person recruitment booth coverage.
